Origin Africa is an initiative of producers, designers, small businesses, exporters, buyers and retailers dedicated to improving African trade in the areas of textiles/apparel, cut flowers, specialty foods, home décor, and fashion accessories. To date Origin Africa has generated over $50 million in new business exports to the U.S. under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) and that figure continues to grow. The Fiber to Fashion Show was held this year in Mauritius and twelve professional designers from all over Africa, including KIKI Clothing, represented their countries. A fundraising event was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra to support the Haitian-American community living in Ghana. The aim was to raise much needed funds for the earthquake victims of Haiti. Above are designs from KIKI Clothing's new girls wear collection that was showcased at the event. If you live in Ghana you can donate via text message by texting HAITI to 1962 (Red Cross) or 1990 (Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund going through the UNDP).

Sophie's Voice Foundation was founded by Hollywood couple Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker in honor of their daughter Sophie, who was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at birth.
Determined to help provide medical, physical and emotional support to Spina Bifida Families everywhere, a cocktail was held in New York City to raise awareness. Nicole Ari Parker was on the red carpet featured in KIKI Clothing.

Last year's winner, Kate Tachie-Menson, from Ghana, has already graced the pages of leading African magazines and headed down runways continuously since her famous win. KIKI Clothing was there, with other leading Ghanaian fashion designers, to showcase some of their most well-known designs.

The event captured the positive energy of people contributing to the building of a nation. Gathered from around the country, the exhibition contained a wide range of stories. Subjects included everyone from Ghana's most-popular musician, entrepreneurs, and individuals working to solve social problems.

A charity fashion show and auction was held at former footballer, Marcel Desailly's residence with the intention to raise funds to build a new primary school for the children of the Agajajeter community in Ghana.

Titi Ademola, representing KIKI Clothing with kids models from the Osu Childrens Home in Accra, Ghana. The Catwalk the world- Fashion for food crusade is an innovative conceptual variation on the WALK THE WORLD concept, to mobilize funds and create awareness for Child Hunger globally in collaboration with the United Nations Food Programme. The international campaign consists of high profile fashion shows around the world with the biggest and most famous designers representing their respective countries. On the 22nd December 2006 the CatWALK THE WORLD Ghana event was staged at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.
